Free Book
I am delighted to announce that a Free book is in the process of being written.
Hopefully it should be completed by December 1998. The authors are looking for any dates
of performances, ticket stubs, and clips from newspapers and magazines from 1968 and 1971.
Any unique contribution will get name recognition in the book. If you have anything, email Lucy with details.

Paul Rodgers: Lucy's report from Hershey Park concert
Hershey Park, Pennsylvania. June 27th. Time 1.55am
Tonight the four of us, Todd Smith, Karen Ayler(A DJ from Radio The Colt)Willy and
myself, had such an enjoyable night. Paul came on around 7.40. All four of them were
wearing shades, the sunset was just beautiful, and the band played Great!!!!!! The songs:-
Can't Get enough. Saving Grace. Feel like making Love. All I want is you.(Which was
amazing!) Shadow of the Sun. Run with the Pack. Bad Co. ( Slighty off key) Holding back
the Storm. Soul of Love. Shooting Star, and of course All right now. By the time Paul had
finished the set, the audience then wanted more, but of course it was too late.
The crowd really enjoyed Paul's performance, even though it took them a while to warm
up and also realise who this guy was. Tonight was also real treat for me. Everyone I was
with, had the chance to meet Paul or get his autograph or have there picture taken with
him. The band seemed more relaxed tonight, not such a demanding gig as others maybe!
Thanks to Steve Croxford for helping some fans dream come true. In the next couple of
weeks I will have the photos to go with this article.

Paul Rodgers: the voice on Tim Donahue's latest CD
TIM DONAHUE - with PAUL RODGERS. New Album called VOICES IN
THE WIND
WRITTEN BY JOHN LEE:
Tim is totally unique in what he does-it's hard to put it all into a short letter,
but let me start by saying that he does not play 'normal guitar. Tim plays different
varieties of fretless guitar (not fretless bass as one might think). His instuments are so
unique and beautiful-his main ones have additional harp strings that he fingers as he taps
out notes on the fretless portion of the guitar!! In addition to this, he has added the
world of MIDI to his instruments, which means he can control synthesizers and play the
fretless/harp portion of the instrument at the same time!!! All this translates into
incredibly beautiful and sensitive music. Tim is truly a composer/guitarist extraodinaire,
as well as one of the world's innovators!!!! His music is extremely melodic and dreamy at
times, and always has influences of hard rock and jazz.
WRITTEN BY LUCY PILLER:
I am sure none of you need a description of Paul's work. Just wait until you hear it,
Paul will melt your heart away.............
